MEET THE BAND
Last Request have been performing together for over six years, during which time they have built up an enviable reputation as one of the best acoustic duos in the UK. Since 2004 they have held a prominent position on the London music scene with an exclusive residency at The Living Room, based in Piccadilly Circus. Their success in this guise has led to countless invitations to perform for a whole host of events including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and charity galas, to name but a few.
What makes this duo so compelling is their emphasis on the modern repertoire, and their ability to perform brilliant acoustic renditions from songs by all of the latest bands and artists, such as The Killers, Snow Patrol, Razorlight, Kings of Leon, Oasis, The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys, Jason Mraz, Scissor Sisters, The Feeling, Take That, Jack Johnson, Ocean Colour Scene, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers…the list is endless!
In addition to this incredible selection of music, Last Request are also superb interpreters of classic and universally loved tracks by bands such The Beatles, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Motown hits and Golden Oldies… There truly is nothing these boys can’t do!!

Meet the team
Andy Johnson
Andy Johnson has been dazzling audiences with his vocal and piano performances for over a decade. He currently holds an exclusive residency at The Living Room London, at both the W1 and Tower Bridge venues. In May 2010 Andy completed his first UK tour, with sold out performance in every major city of the UK, playing a mix of classic covers and original songs, to great acclaim. He has played numerous gigs in Switzerland, a firm favourite for Andy, as well as Italy, France, and the unforgettable NY NY piano bar in Las Vegas.
Andy is a prolific composer and songwriter and has written music for film, theatre, and Television, including adverts for HSBC and Timotei. His orchestral arrangement of music from the film Gladiator was given the firm nod of approval from Hans Zimmer himself!.
In September 2011 Andy submitted 5 songs from his debut album into the UK Songwriting Competition, which receives over 15,000 entries each year. Four of those songs reached the semi final round and one song made it into the final! We eagerly await the release of this album in the autumn of 2011.
When Andy isn’t performing as one half of Last Request, he is in demand as a solo pianist and vocalist, providing music for wedding ceremonies, champagne receptions, corporate parties, and other events that require a more intimate musical backdrop. His repertoire in this guise includes Rat Pack and Classic songs from artists such as Billy Joel, Elton John, Michael Bublé, Jamie Cullum, as well as contemporary takes from artists such as Jack Johnson, Ray Lamontagne, Coldplay, Keane, and Bruno Mars, amongst others.

Steve McCormack
Steve McCormack has been playing the guitar for 12 years and is an experienced and talented singer/songwriter. With a powerful, rich voice, Steve often takes the lead vocal on songs by artists such as The Eagles, Neil Diamond, Elvis, Oasis and Coldplay, as well as providing excellent harmonies when needed.
Andy and Steve have the perfect blend of two great voices and it's a real treat to hear them perform songs by Simon and Garfunkel, Crowded House, and of course, The Beatles. Joe Hicks
Joe is a highly accomplished and versatile Session Guitarist/Vocalist and Guitar Teacher, who has over 12 years experience. Having toured the UK and Europe numerous times and played concerts elsewhere throughout the World, Joe’s technical ability is that of a seasoned professional, despite only being 20 years old.
Joe has a large amount of experience in Live Performance/ Recording / Video Performance / Songwriting and Guitar Teaching, having been professionally playing and teaching guitar lessons for over 4 years.
